What We Do

At United Nations House Scotland (UNHS) we create opportunity platforms for contribution to the implementation of UN goals and values.  Platforms include:

•  Seminars and conferences on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

• Developing intern programmes (including professional mentorships and study-based placements)

• Developing a fellowship programme for collaborative research on an international basis

• Producing and distributing the Parliamentary One-Pager to Members of Parliament

• Developing Advocates programme

• Supporting Model United Nations programmes (MUNs) with schools and Higher Education Institutions.

UNHS creates and develops these platforms to further the values and goals of the UN.  Through support and respect for others, dignity in our activities, transparency in all we do, we strive to contribute to positive change through communication and collaboration.
