The University of Oxford has an exciting opportunity for young people who are passionate about mental health to be involved in shaping a new study called the Global Mental Health Databank Project.
This will put a Young People's Advisory Group at the centre of an innovative project, conducted in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, to help a group of researchers design and implement an online platform where psychological treatments are more available to young people.
As a Youth Advisor, you will be brought in as an expert on your own experiences, whatever they may be.
If you meet the criteria listed below, we want to hear from you. There are no wrong answers. We encourage applications from young people of different ethnicities, and we especially want to hear from young men and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) young people as your voices are underrepresented in mental health spaces and research.
Fill out a short online application form here. Applications close on 2nd March, 2021. If you have any questions or reservations about filling out the form, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Youth Advisor, Emily Bampton at emily.bampton@psych.ox.ac.uk. We want to hear from you! BENEFITS
